In Ephesians 6, we are reminded that the spiritual battle we face every day is not against flesh and blood, but against forces of darkness that work to keep people from the light of the gospel. This message takes us deep into that reality, exploring how prayer is not a passive afterthought but an act of spiritual warfare. When we intercede for a lost person, we are declaring war on darkness itself. We are storming the throne of grace on behalf of someone who may not even know they need it. The apostle Paul, writing from chains, asked the Ephesian church to pray that he would have the right words and the boldness to proclaim the gospel clearly. If Paul, one of the greatest proclaimers of the gospel in all of history, felt the need for that kind of prayer support, how much more should we be lifting one another up? This message challenges us to feel the weight of the lostness around us and to respond not with indifference but with earnest, persistent, faith-filled prayer. Someone once prayed for us.
