Spiritual Warfare: Praying Part 1

What does it truly mean to fight a spiritual battle? In Ephesians 6, Paul lays out the full armor of God, piece by piece, but then he points us to something that ties it all together: prayer. Not the kind of prayer that feels like a chore or a grocery list handed up to a cosmic butler, but the kind that flows from a heart utterly dependent on God. This message challenges us to examine whether our prayer lives are genuine conversations with the Lord or simply religious obligations we check off. The deeper we look, the more we realize that prayerlessness is not just a bad habit. It is a sign that something in our relationship with God has grown cold. When we stop praying, we stop seeking. And when we stop seeking, we lose our footing in the battle entirely. The good news is that God has not moved. He is still inviting us into his presence, still listening, and still responding to the cries of those who trust him.
