Spiritual Warfare: Praying Part 2

What does it truly mean to fight a spiritual battle? The answer, perhaps surprisingly, is not found in strategy or effort alone, but in prayer. This message takes us deep into the concept of warfare praying, specifically the practice of intercession, and challenges us to see prayer not as a last resort but as the very heartbeat of a life surrendered to God. Drawing from Ephesians 6:18, we are called to stay alert, to persevere, and to lift up the needs of those around us before the throne of grace. The message draws a powerful connection between Christ's own intercession on our behalf, as foretold in Isaiah 53:12 and confirmed in Romans 8:34 and Hebrews 7:25, and our calling to stand in the gap for others. Just as Christ entered into our brokenness to intercede for us, we are invited to carry the burdens of those around us into the presence of God. This is not a passive or optional part of the Christian life. It is the greater work, the act through which God's power is invited to move in ways our own strength never could.
